Christian Meditation 

Christian Meditation is practised here at St Kevin’s Parish every Wednesday morning @ 9.30am, with our Co-Ordinator, Izabella Fantin.

All are welcome to join us – held in the St Kevin’s Chapel.
If you would like to take part, but prefer not to physically, we also have a live, online option.

Knitting & Crochet Group

All welcome to join in

Every Tuesday at 1.00pm

A year round project, knit from home and drop into the Parish house when the time is right!

Donations of wool, Knitting needles, crochet hooks and sewing needles are always very much appreciated.

St Kevin’s Men’s Social Group

Open to men of any age (older teenagers are welcome with their guardian) – parishioners and non parishioners alike.

  • Date  – Monthly (2nd Friday of each month)
  • Time – 7.30pm
  • Where – St Kevin’s Parish, Templestowe Map
  • Extra stuff – BYO alcohol, supper provided
  • Cost – $8 donation appreciated

All Welcome. Invite a friend, relative or neighbour along.

Social Justice Group

Social justice covers a very wide range of issues in our community, society, and world. No single group can ever or fully address all of these, but by local choice and in keeping with our interests, abilities, aspirations and potential we endeavour to contribute reasonably by pursuing a balance of activities we believe can help make a worthwhile difference.

Apart from how one might privately respond to this call, our Parish provides Social Justice opportunities through learning and engagement to respond collectively as disciples in following Christ’s example and the Mission we are called to continue.

OUR APPROACH – Raise awareness and understanding of Social Justice (SJ) and related issues. Provide a collective opportunity for parishioners to engage across a selected set of manageable SJ activities. Work in systematic and focused ways to progressively contribute and make a difference. Periodically review the way we work, activities we choose to pursue, and their effectiveness. Offer personal development accreditation to participants wanting to benefit from these. Operate synodally.
