Reconciliation

Any child not attending a Catholic school is able to celebrate Reconciliation as a Catechist. The Candidate must be in at least Grade 3 level.
The St Kevin’s Catechist program is a commitment between family, child and parish which includes working through a Catechist booklet (provided). The program is a combination of at home preparation and in person sessions with our Sacramental Coordinator, Ana Saro.
Ana will ensure that the child is prepared for the Sacrament through the compulsory teaching sessions which align with the school’s workshop and reflection day.
Please contact the Parish office on 9850 5983 to register and begin.

We look forward to celebrating this important Sacrament with your child/ren. In the meantime, we encourage all families to attend Mass on a regular basis, as this will prepare your child to feel comfortable during Reconciliation. Regular attendance at the weekend Mass will allow the family to get to know Fr Charles.
If you would like your child to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, please contact the Parish Office on 9850 5983 or email us on templestowe@cam.org.au
Blessings from all of us at St Kevin’s Parish.
